The charming 19th-century farmhouse exuded warmth and history, surrounded by lush gardens and inviting seating areas. Our room, featuring rustic wooden beams and garden views, was a picturesque retreat.Our gracious host, Jose, epitomized Spanish hospitality, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Despite the language barrier, his genuine care shone through, making us feel welcomed and at ease. The proximity to the airport was convenient for our early morning departure, yet the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside felt like a world away.The housekeeping was impeccable, and the thoughtful amenities, including free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV, added a modern touch to the traditional setting. The daily breakfast in the charming dining room was a delightful start to our day, featuring local flavors and fresh ingredients.While the location was a bit secluded, requiring a short drive to reach Bilbao or the coast, the tranquility of the surroundings was a welcome respite.
